mr g's state of high alert...

especially when it comes to the toilet flush

gone are the days of using the facilities in peace

mr g is obsessed with all things bathroom

he literally goes crazy if he doesn't get in to inspect the toilet flush
and i don't even want to get started on bath time!

ah, well, i guess its a good thing i find this highly entertaining...if not, mucho peculiar

this afternoon, while sketching at the starbucks

a dude started chatting me up

asking me questions about what i was doing

while i could appreciate his friendliness,

it was a bit distracting

and i didn't get near enough done

NEGATIVE (mr starbucks)

i, unfortunately, DO NOT love to draw

i am not a recreational sketcher

it does not relax me

it is not fun

i do it because it is a part of my job

in my first design class, i was surprised to find that i was pretty good at it

in graduate school i worked hard to hone my craft

i got better...or is should say

my "characters" greatly improved

this book by Tan Huaixiang is literally SOLID GOLD

one of my most prized possessions, for sure

doesn't make me love to sketch...but it sure helps make things less painfull
