this is one of my new all time favorite films

meryl streep is absolutely delightful as JULIA CHILD

amy adams (who, according to allie, would play ME if there was a film made about my life) is cute and slightly pathetic in a very endearing way

and, of course, last BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST ann roth's design is nothing short of brilliant. i'm convinced everything this woman touches turns to gold
