montgomery college will not be the same without them

while i am sad for myself because i will miss them terribly,

i am happy that they are moving on to the next stage of their lives

last week my two boji katies were BOTH here in h-town

i can't think of a better combination than

i spent last night in the arms of a girl in louisiana...

in other news...i spent last night completely lost.

to. save. my. life.

i was there to see DEAD MAN WALKING

at HGO

it was visually stunning

and, i mean, visually stunning. beautiful

and definitely worth getting all turned inside out and upside down

understandably, its been over two year since i spent every waking hour in

that place

but i just never thought i could or would get so turned around

for heaven sake, i couldn't even remember how to get backstage

and i really wanted to see this guy

to tell him he was brilliant, as always



good news, though

i eventually found my way in...and then out again...

and back home

safe. and. sound.

the cavalry has arrived!

KATIE JO is back

and just in time for the craziness to ensue

its gonna be so sweet to have another set of hands on deck for my next few shows

she's been here since friday

and, in that time, we've had some legendary moments

(including watching the kitties get acquainted...as i type this they have both wandered into my closet...together...which is quite the development since there has been a lot of hissing and growling and running away...more to come on that subject)

but...YAY! i'm so happy to have my KATIE JO back

...evacuate the dance floor!

apparently, big hair is the new black

my friend found me online last night

when i saw the message in my inbox this morning my first instinct was to send a snarky reply

but upon closer inspection i actually saw the resemblance

so my friends, if you were wondering what i looked like in the 60's.....VOILA...wonder no more!

i'm just a little bit tempted to do my hair like this...for funsies
