this past weekend i headed to boise
for a visit with my people
and to see my beautiful niece, anna, baptized
my rock star sister, sarah, came bearing gifts...
RED VINES...5lbs worth (among other things)
we enjoyed them thoroughly...

you keep samin' when you oughta be a'changin...
key to happiness:boot season!
we, as h-townies, are deprived of few things
and we're ok with that
however
we (speaking royally as the queen of h-town, naturally)
are upset with the lack of
season action that occurs in this place
right now the weather is beautiful
mostly because it doesn't feel like an armpit outside
but more importantly...it means its cool enough for le boot
i've gone a little crazy this season
added 6 pair to my family
and even ventured into the over-the-knee (hooker, if you will) boot
and i love them...like, more than my luggage...if i had luggage
gaaaaah! boots are the bees knees y'all!

mistakes and regrets are memories made...
key to happiness
moving on
today has been tough
i admit, my friends, i've been weepy and down in the dumps
kinda no fun and a drag to be around to boot
i'm sad.
and worst of all, i have no one to blame but myself
its hard to handle knowing when you are the cause of your own sadness
so the key to my happiness these days is moving on
picking up the pieces, walking away, and moving on

its been a bustling couple of weeks here in design-landgoin' on about 4 weeks without a full day off....sigh
guess that's what happens when you open three shows and close one
tomorrow i start fittings for HAIRSPRAY at {hits}...woo hoo....away we go!

although i think $30 is a silly price to pay on a little-ole-night shirt,
i sorta love it

AND i can't help but think of my menti fresh when i wear it

was lost...travesty incarnate
but he just so happened to resurface right before my boise trip in december
only to be stolen away in the dark of night by
that girl...up there

once in the 6th grade i was asked to do a written math problem on the board
i spelled the number 2: T-O-E
(never been much of a speller...obviously)
well, mr. so-and-so thought that was the funniest thing he had ever witnessed
(obviously he could have used a few more out-of-town trips)
since that day, i have never spelled TWO wrong
so, here's to you mr. so-and-so
